Mike McEvoy

Executive Vice President - Advisor

Mike McEvoy, third-generation family owner, has announced his retirement as Executive Vice President of Operations, effective in early 2025. In the interim, Mike will continue as a trusted advisor for the  leadership team, given his knowledge and expertise of Sargento and its operations.

Mike joined the family-owned cheese company in 1997. Over the years, Mike has held a variety of positions at Sargento, including Trade Promotion Manager, Marketing Manager, Vice President – Sales, President – Food Ingredients Division and has led the Operations Team since 2013. As part of the third generation of the company’s family ownership, Mike has overseen more than $600 million of capital expansions while demonstrating care and compassion for the Sargento Family of employees.

Mike holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Cardinal Stritch University and a bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College. He has also completed the Executive Education Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Mike served on the Board of Directors for the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, and was the board chair for the American Frozen Food Institute. He also served as board member and past chair of the Schneider School of Business & Economics at St. Norbert College and currently serves on the St. Norbert College Board of Trustees. Mike is also the treasurer and a board member of the Lakeshore Technical College Foundation.
